Rebecah Pulsifer is a PhD candidate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Under the direction of Andrew Gaedtke, she is completing a dissertation on the discursive history of intelligence and intellectual disability in modern British literature and culture. She has received fellowships in neuro-cultures and the bio-humanities. Her scholarship has appeared or is forthcoming in Studies in the Novel and Modern Fiction Studies.
