Aaron Faith is a graduate student in the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering and the School of Arts, Media and Engineering at Arizona State University. By combining engineering principles, human motor control theory, and insights and motivation from the arts, Aaron studies the ability of humans to use real-time auditory feedback of kinematic variables to perform accurate and consistent upper limb movements. Potential applications include stroke rehabilitation, skilled motor learning, and interactive artistic performance. Aaron’s previous research analyzed the EEG of individuals with epilepsy to devise epileptic seizure prediction algorithms, differentiate psychogenic non-epileptic seizures from epileptic seizures, and investigate the effects of antiepileptic drugs on status epilepticus.
