Graduate student, Morelos State Autonomous University, Mexico
Vicente Estrada is a graduate student in Cognitive Science at Morelos State Autonomous University in Mexico. His research focuses on the role of exposure to contemporary art on the modulation of concept acquisition. Estrada is a graduate of the National and Autonomous University of Mexico (U.N.A.M.), where he received a BSc in Psychology with a focus in Neuroscience. There, he explored the rewarding effect of the stimulation of the endocannabinoid system. After graduation, Vicente created "México Sensible," a curatorial project that aims to develop a space where young contemporary artists could have their first exhibition. He is deeply convinced that curatorial work at art exhibitions should be based on neuroaesthetics research.
