Aaron Colverson is currently a graduate student in Ethnomusicology at the University of Florida. His previous education includes undergraduate health science and music courses at Stetson University in Florida, and a Bachelor¹s degree in professional music from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, graduating in 2009. Aaron¹s primary training is as a violinist in music performance, with particular focus on improvisation. He is proficient in multiple genres of music, including jazz, classical, and world music. This varied background is the driving force behind Aaron¹s research ambitions; how and why music has such a profound impact on the ways in which people interact with one another on a daily basis.
